The Hygienic DESIGN spacer was developed especially for use in food processing areas. The distance between two components can be continuously adjusted to the required length using an open-ended spanner. Special attention was paid to the cleaning-optimised geometry and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 µm. The sealing ring made of food-compatible plastic is replaceable.
Material:
Spacer: stainless steel 1.4404.
Sealing ring: thermoplastic compliant with EUl0/2011 and FDA (POM).
Shaft seal: 75 EPDM 295.
