The SOLIDClean cleaning propeller is used to clean the clamping point. Chips, chip nests and residual coolant water can be removed easily and efficiently.
Whether after dry machining or with cooling lubricant, SOLIDClean minimises water and chip carry-over. Indispensable, especially for automated processes!

The SOLIDClean cleaning propeller is used in standard clamping collets of 20 mm or in Weldon holders.
The SOLIDClean cleaning propeller is stored in the machine tool magazine like a normal tool and is changed automatically by the CNC program.
Before the air cleaning process, the workpieces and fixtures can be rinsed with coolant while the spindle is stationary.

Move the SOLIDClean cleaning helix (clockwise) a sufficient distance. Note that the interference contour, and therefore the risk of collision, change dynamically when the spindle accelerates (the cover opens) and when the spindle stops (the cover retracts).
Always keep a sufficient distance from the workpiece.
Use the SOLIDClean cleaning propeller only in machine tools with closed cabins and with the machine door closed. Damaged flaps can be replaced, and we offer the corresponding spare parts kit for this purpose.
Operating mode:
1. Rinsing
If possible, first flush out the chips by means of the IKZ and the stationary spindle.
2. Drying
Accelerate the spindle in two stages. Start at 1.500 rpm. Then accelerate the spindle to the desired and permitted working speed.
