The Conu® conical nuts are self-locking nuts that can be mounted without tools. Due to its shape, the nut sits fully recessed in the workpiece.

Note:
The counterbore must comply with DIN 74, form F. Due to the larger angle of the nut (α) compared with the recess (90°), the locking ribs promote locking in the recess. As the nut advances into the recess, the locking factor increases. This prevents the connection from loosening accidentally.
Form S is suitable for screws of strength class 8.8.
Form L is suitable for screws of strength class 10.9.
