PAK1227.080812
Floating clamp with tension, separation + locking, Style B, Case-hardened steel nitrided + burnished, Components: aluminium blue
Estimated delivery: On request
Material:
Main body and jaw in case-hardened steel.
Aluminium housing.
Version:
Main body nitrided, burnished and ground.
Nitrided and burnished jaw.
Blue anodised housing.
Order example:
K1227.100812
Note:
The floating support is used to clamp and support over-determined clamping points on thin-walled, sensitive components that are not resistant to bending, preventing vibrations and warping during machining.
Operating mode:
1. Press the floating clamp down.
2. Turn the clamping jaw. At this point, the lower jaw will rest against the workpiece with a slight spring force.
3. Tighten the hexagon nut (A/F 18) to the maximum torque of 15 Nm. The jaws grip the part while the clamp is still floating.
4. Tighten the hexagon nut (A/F 10) to the maximum torque of 10 Nm. Operation completed.
5. To release the clamping, carry out the same steps in reverse order.
Mounting:
Form A:
Fasten the floating clamp to the fixture with the connection thread M12.
Adjust the height stop and the swivel range with the adjusting bush and secure with threaded pins (3x SW 2,5). When adjusting the upper height limit, allow a generous clearance.
For safe operation, the threaded hole M12 must always be closed.
For specific clamping situations, series-produced jaws can be modified or replaced.
Form B:
Fasten the floating clamp to the fixture with the fastening bores M6.
Adjust the lashing and lifting height of loads and the angle of rotation with the blue adjusting bush and secure with threaded pins (4x SW 2,5). When adjusting the upper height limit, allow a generous clearance.
For specific clamping situations, series-produced jaws can be modified or replaced.
