Note:
Height-adjustable feet and ball levelling feet are used whenever heavy systems, machines and equipment have to be mounted and aligned. This allows precise positioning when mounting inclined support surfaces up to an inclination angle of approximately 4°.
They are characterised by their wide adjustment stroke of 15 mm to 50 mm.
The static load F applies after deduction of the preload force of the clamping screw.
Mounting:
The height-adjusting foot is mounted on the machine or similar using a fixing screw (1). In this way, the upper part (2) is firmly connected to the machine or unit. Height adjustment is made by turning the lower part (3) with a hook spanner. The anti-unscrewing device (4) prevents the upper part from being unscrewed too far; it is also decisive for the maximum adjustment height (∆H). The levelling element (5) is connected to the underside and can therefore compensate for inclined support surfaces of up to 4°. Thanks to a special design feature, the levelling element (5) cannot come loose from the base (3), so that it forms a single unit with the base.
