The force sensor for quick clamps allows the force with which a workpiece is clamped to be compared with a previously defined nominal value.
The setting of the nominal value is described in the operating instructions.

It is mounted between a mechanical quick clamp and the clamping fixture.

If the force sensor is connected to the Bluetooth module K1831 via the integrated USB type C port, it transmits the sensor status via wireless connection. The signal can then be received and processed, for example, by the gateway K1494.
In addition, the integrated LED display of the Bluetooth module indicates the status of the clamping element.

The force sensor is supplied with electrical power by the Bluetooth module, which can be replaced if necessary without reconfiguration.

The force sensor allows the force with which a workpiece is clamped to be compared with a previously defined nominal value. The adjustment of the nominal value is described in the operating instructions. If the force sensor is equipped with a Bluetooth module, the force can be recorded and processed. The force sensor is supplied with power via the Bluetooth module, which can be replaced if necessary without reconfiguration. The Bluetooth module K1831 can be connected to the force sensor via USB Type C.
Application:
The force sensor can be used to compare the clamping force of a mechanical quick clamp with a nominal value.
The operator can easily monitor when the clamping force has been reached using the LED display on the Bluetooth module.

0 °C to +65 °C.
Mounting:
The force sensor is fixed to the assembly table with ISO 4762 / DIN 912 cylinder head screws through the hole D1. Only then can the quick-action clamp be fastened to the force sensor with screws through the holes D2.
