Thermoplastic PPA, high-temperature resistant, reinforced with glass fibre, black, FDA compliant, EU10/2011, NSF, KTW. Stainless steel parts 1.4404.

Version:
Stainless steel parts, natural finish, smooth.
Note:
Four-lobed knobs with protruding steel bush in the internal thread version are particularly suitable for connections with cross pins.
Application:
These four-lobed knobs have been specially developed for applications with high hygiene requirements and high application temperatures. The knob contour with a smooth surface is easy to clean.

For contact with food and drinking water, this plastic complies with FDA, EU10/2011, NSF, KTW and is permanently resistant to hot water and hydrolysis (steam sterilisation).

This high-temperature plastic is even suitable for permanent use in hot environments and retains its high strength.
Temperature range:
Continuous operating temperature according to IEC 216
max. 150 °C - 160 °C.
Short-term operating temperature max. de 250 °C.
Advantages:
Resistant to moisture and cleaning agents (during disinfection).
The four-lobed knobs can be tightened and loosened without tools.

The target group is the food processing industry (or trade) where the parts may come into contact with food or drinking water.

These four-lobed knobs are also particularly suitable for use at very high ambient temperatures, with constant contact with hot water or steam.
