The receiving bushes are positioned in fixture plates or change plates and form the counterpart of the locating cylinder.
They are centred in a plain bore and then fastened with 4 screws.
In daily use, the balls of the cylinder engage in the lower undercut of the bush, thus forming a secure, highly precise exchange unit that minimises machine set-up and tool change times.
