Hygienic Design acorn nut, With seal, M16, SW=24, Stainless steel A4 1.4404 unpolished

The Hygienic DESIGN screw system was specially developed for applications in the food processing sectors. We attached great importance to optimising the geometry for cleaning procedures, as well as to a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0,8 µm. The pre-assembled sealing ring makes application quick and easy, completing the set.
Material:
Hexagon nut: stainless steel 1.4404.
Sealing ring: thermoplastic (POM) compliant with EU10/2011 and FDA.

Note:
The bearing surface of the sealing ring must be flat and perpendicular to the screw hole, and have a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0,8 µm.
Sealing ring not suitable for acidic cleaning (pH value <4) and oxidising agents.

-20 °C to +100 °C (POM).

Suitability of the "Hygienic Design" threaded connection for the intended process must be verified by the user. The sealing ring must be inspected regularly or replaced, depending on the applied load or external influences (temperature, cleaning agents and product media).
