Indexing plungers are used when it is necessary to prevent a change in the locking position due to lateral forces. It can only be moved to another locking position after the pin has been disengaged manually. If the pin is to remain withdrawn for a long period and the guided locking pin must be prevented from retracting, form C should be used.

Premium indexing plungers are characterised by the highest manufacturing requirements for the indexing plunger and the threaded bush. In addition, a centring feature has been added to the threaded bush, which can be used to increase positioning accuracy.

Mounting:
When using the centring tip, it is recommended to produce the fit in the receiving part before cutting the thread.
The conical contact surfaces are adjusted by means of the threaded bush and the lock nut.
