Indexing plungers are used when it is necessary to prevent a change in the locking position due to lateral forces. It can only be moved to another locking position after the pin has been disengaged manually.
The anti-rotation protection ensures that the position of the pin relative to the bush does not change. The chamfered tip allows the pin to disengage automatically due to lateral forces on one side. Loosening the screw up to the mark on the pin allows the engagement chamfer to be rotated by 60°.
