Indexing plunger with locking guide pin, With latching groove without lock nut, D=7, Form B with position

Indexing plungers are used to prevent changes in the engagement position caused by transverse forces.

If the locking marking is visible, the pin is fully unlocked or only partially engaged.
Material:
Housing and pin in steel.
Locking marking in aluminium.
PA (polyamide) thermoplastic rotary knob.
Version:
Nickel-plated housing and pin.
Locking marking anodised, red.
Glass-fibre-reinforced rotary knob, black.
Note:
Mounting option 1: for plate thickness of 6 mm.
Mounting option 2 form A: for plate thicknesses > 6 to 14 mm
and form B: for plate thicknesses > 6 up to 15 mm.
Operating mode:
Form A:
Make sure that the rotary knob is in the "OFF" position and that the pin
is in the retracted state.
Slide the plate with the bush under the indexing plunger.
Turn the rotary knob to the "ON" position to lock.
When it reaches the locking point, the device emits an audible click.
Caution: do not release the indexing plunger when it is under axial load.
Due to the conical shape, it is possible that the pin does not retract.


Form B:
When the rotary knob is in the "OFF" position, move the plate with the bush
in the direction of the indexing plunger until the pin engages in the bush, due to the pressure
of the spring.
The rotary knob moves automatically to the "MID" position.
For complete locking, turn the knob from position "MID" to "ON", until a
click.
