Note:
With the oil level indicator, the filling level can be viewed and detected by means of a reed switch. In addition to visual control, the oil level indicators can emit an electrical signal when the temperature of the liquid inside the container reaches the threshold of 70 °C.
As soon as the float reaches the defined minimum value, an electrical signal is emitted after the electrical circuit closes.
The sensor is positioned on the housing and its height can be adjusted according to the level control requirements. The minimum specification is approx. 35 mm from the centre of the lower fixing screw.
The reed switch is equipped with a normally open (NO) contact.
Temperature monitoring is carried out by means of a temperature switch (bimetallic). When the specified temperature is reached, the electrical circuit is closed (NO) or opened (NC) by the sensor, depending on the model.
The sight glass consists of two transparent components, ultrasonically welded after assembly, thus ensuring a complete seal.
The maximum pressure corresponds to 1 bar. Tightening torque of the fixing screws 5 Nm.
The sight glass has good mechanical resistance and is compatible with mineral oil, petrol, lubricants, kerosene, solvents and most chemical agents. Avoid contact with alcoholic solutions and hot water.
Temperature range:
Maximum operating temperature: 75 °C.
Mounting:
The oil level indicator is fixed by two threaded holes M12 or, alternatively, by two holes of Ø 12,2 mm (± 0,2 mm) with flange nuts. Centre distance of the mounting holes = L1 ±0,3.
Functions:
The oil is measured by means of a magnetic float, which activates the electrical contact when it reaches the “REED” level switch. If the oil level drops below a certain level, an electrical pulse can be emitted.
Observe:
Strong magnetic fields affect operation.
