Operating element with orange clamping lever RAL2004, TA.1, Style C with latching function, Anti-rotation, M20X1, 5

The actuating elements for manual operation of the Bowden cable systems have been specially adapted to the system-compatible indexing plungers. The combination of indexing plunger and operating element forms a complete system that can be used in many applications. Different knob geometries allow optimum handling for the respective application.

Actuation variants: with latching function, without latching function, anti-rotation protection, rotating cam.
Knob shapes: mushroom knob, T-knob, star knob, clamping lever.
Material:
Actuating element 1.4305.
Thermoplastic handle.
Brass adjusting screw.

Version:
Stainless steel parts with untreated surface.
Zinc-plated adjusting screw.
Plastic handles in different colours.
Ordering note:
The online shop configurator is recommended to simplify the configuration of the complete system.
Note:
The following points must be observed when assembling Bowden cables:
The length of the free end of the cable may vary due to factors such as the mounting angle, bending radius and load. In this way, the length of the counter-bearing (cable sheath) must be adjusted after installing the Bowden cable, by means of the adjusting screw included. The preload of the Bowden cable system is adjusted simultaneously with the adjusting screw.
During assembly, particular care must be taken to ensure that the minimum bending radius, in this case R = 65 mm, is not undercut. A radius that is too narrow can lead to increased wear and friction.
Also avoid falling below the minimum bending radius, even briefly, during assembly; otherwise the cable sheath will be damaged. In addition, the casing is designed only to absorb compressive forces. If it is displaced too far, the inner spiral is stretched and permanently damaged.
