Note:
Sheet-metal link chains in accordance with DIN 5279 are mainly used as captive protection. They serve to reliably secure components, tools and equipment against accidental falling or loss. They are ideal for connecting fasteners, pins or loose components, especially in industrial, craft and technical areas.

Sheet-metal link chains are decorative chains made of stamped brass or steel links. Due to their construction, they are intended for clamping, safety locking and retaining functions. However, they are not approved for lifting or lashing loads.
Mounting:
Sheet-metal link chains in accordance with DIN 5279 are not rated and have no tested load capacity for lifting or for use as a stop. They have no quality grade. Use for lifting loads or as a means of lashing and hoisting loads is therefore not permitted.
On request:
Other lengths in increments of 1 metre. Minimum length of 1 metre. Maximum length per piece: 25 metres (50 metres for S=0,3).
Note: chains cut to size cannot be exchanged.
