Pneumatic screw-on swing clamps with flange are used in applications where low clamping forces are sufficient or when the clamping point must remain free for loading and unloading the workpiece.
Due to the double-acting function of the clamp, the piston is moved downwards and upwards by means of pressure.
The total stroke of the swing clamp consists of a swivel stroke and a clamping stroke. At the start of the clamping process, the clamping arm performs a rotary stroke movement of 90° downwards. After this movement, the clamping stroke continues linearly downwards. The workpiece can only be clamped via the clamping stroke.
The swivel movement of the swing clamp must not be obstructed. F1 = with 6 bar max. of permissible operating pressure.
The screw-in swing clamp with flange can be fixed from above or below by means of a DIN 70852 slotted nut. Alternatively, the rotary clamp can be fastened to the fixture from above with four cheese head screws.
The swing clamp must only be operated with oil-lubricated air.
The mounting holes in the flange have the same dimensions as the threaded flanges K1820.
Includes screw and elastic ring for fastening the clamping arms, available as accessories.
The clamping arm and slotted nut are not included in the scope of delivery.
