Protective cover, Oil-resistant, Antistatic, Form B inclined, D=12, 5 for M05, Neoprene black RAL9011

Material:
Neoprene.
Version:
Black neoprene, oil-resistant, hardness 75 Shore A.
Order example:
K0106.0124
Application:
Sensitive electrical and electronic components and equipment (ESD-sensitive components) can be damaged or even destroyed by electrostatic discharge in their vicinity (electrostatic discharge = ESD).
An electrostatic discharge can be caused by people or by handling ESD-sensitive components (e.g. during manufacturing, assembly, transport, storage, etc.).
To avoid electrostatic discharge, the use of electrically dissipative products in the electronic environment is required, which comply with DIN EN 61340-5-1.
These products are suitable for ESD applications and for ESD protected areas (EPA) in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1.
Advantages:
- Made from a special electrically dissipative plastic
- For protecting sensitive components and devices, electrical or electronic
Safety:
These products with ESD characteristics are also suitable for use in equipment, components and protective systems installed in potentially explosive atmospheres.
By using the ESD products, discharge of an electrostatic spark and thus possible ignition of gases and dusts, which could lead to an explosion in enclosed spaces, is avoided.
To protect people working in potentially explosive environments, equipment manufacturers and operators are required to apply and comply with the "ATEX" regulations.

Target groups:
Equipment manufacturers who must comply with the requirements of the “ATEX 2014/34 / EU” regulations.
Operators who must comply with the requirements of the operating regulations “ATEX 1999/92/EG”.
