Note:
Socket:
Socket with 1/2“ drive, manufacturer Hazet. Specially modified to accommodate the plastic inserts. Thanks to the length and internal shape of the socket, the plastic insert is held securely. This results in optimum force transmission to the screw head. When used correctly, metallic contact between the socket and the hexagon head is avoided due to its design. This eliminates the possibility of contact corrosion.

Plastic insert:
Plastic insert for tightening and loosening screws and nuts of the KIPP NOVOnox hygienic product line. Polished and sensitive surfaces are protected, thus avoiding possible subsequent contact corrosion.
Pressing into the special socket is carried out manually. Thanks to the form-fit and the clamping device, ideal retention in the socket is achieved. No special tool is required to replace worn plastic inserts.
With a defined tightening torque (strength class 6.8), the plastic fittings achieve a service life of up to 1000 replacement cycles.
