Note:
Support devices with self-aligning ball are used for supporting and clamping workpieces. In addition, they serve as stops, supports and locating elements for heavy fixtures and in tool manufacture.
The balls are protected against rotation.
Form O: the diamond abrasive surface is firmly bonded to the ball. It is ideal for locating in slippery or smooth applications with minimal clamping pressure. In these cases, the diamond particles transmit high holding forces over a very small area with minimal impairment of the surface.
The diamond surface offers exceptional wear resistance.
Advantages:
An integrated O-ring holds the ball and prevents dirt and external particles from entering, thus ensuring smooth movement.
The hexagon socket facilitates adjustment and positioning in through holes.
