Self-tapping threaded inserts for making screw connections with high load-bearing capacity, wear-resistant and protected against vibration, in materials with low shear strength, such as, e.g. aluminium and aluminium alloys, brass, bronze, cast iron, thermosets and thermoplastics.

Threaded inserts are tapered at the lower end and have 3 cutting holes. When screwed into the receiving bore, they cut their own thread, ensuring an absolutely secure and firm fit in the receiving material.

Internal thread D1 according to ISO 6H.

These threaded inserts with cutting holes are designed mainly for materials that are difficult to machine. Thanks to the thicker wall, additional force can be absorbed during the machining process, which is distributed across the three cutting holes.
