Latches are used to prevent changes in the engagement position, caused by
transverse forces.
When the latch is turned 180°, the locking guide pin retracts, thus allowing the
the latching position.
The detent notch causes the latch to be held in this position and the pin
remains retracted.

Note:
Thanks to the square bush, the latches are suitable for welding. Positioning by spot welding is recommended to avoid excessive heating of the spring.
