Note:
When the rotary knob is activated, the clamping pins mounted on the underside of the sliding clamp are tightened by springs and pressed downwards. Both clamping pins are pressed against the surface, locking the sliding clamp.

Operating principle:
Sliding clamps can be used in 2 different types of operation.
Operating mode 1:
Displaceable system.
If the sliding clamp is screwed on with the shim plate (K 1073) or with a mounting element, it can move along a fixed square profile.
Operating mode 2:
Fixed system.
If the sliding clamp is screwed (fixed) directly onto a plate, the square profile can be displaced.
