The support bars are used to adjust the clamping depth of the workpiece in the 5-axis compact vice / KIPPflexX.
When used with support bars of 12 mm, there is no interference with the effect of the downward clamping force applied to the workpiece.
In the 17 mm version, the downward clamping effect will be reduced, causing corner deformation.
