Support element case-hardened steel, Components: aluminium
Estimated delivery: On request
Material:
Main body: case-hardened steel.
Aluminium housing.
Version:
Main body nitrided, with manganese phosphate coating and ground.
Red anodised housing.
Note:
The support element is used to support redundant clamping points on components. It prevents vibrations and deflection during machining.
Operating mode:
1. Turn the clamping cam (hexagon socket SW 6) in the area of the coating of the red protective bush. The support pin makes light-tension contact with the workpiece.
2. When turning further up to the stop (lock), the clamping mechanism locks the support pin without changing its position.
3. When turned in the opposite direction (unlock), the clamping is released. To move the support pin to the end of its stroke, turn until it stops.
Mounting:
Fasten the support element to the fixture with the connection thread M6.
Alternative: replace the threaded pin M12x10 with the threaded pin M12x30 and fit the support element with wrench flats (SW 21) (e.g. for clamping in T-slots). For safe operation, the threaded hole M12 must always be closed.
The support element can be lowered by 16 mm.
The M8 thread can be fitted with various support pins.
Supplied with threaded stud M12x30 and T-slot nut M12x14 (DIN 508).
Drawing note:
1) Threaded pin M12x30 DIN 913 (replaceable)
2) T-slot nut M12x14 DIN 508
